Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our new Charging & Payments Team as a Charging & Payments Assistant.

West Dunbartonshire Health and Social Care Partnership is responsible for ensuring that we raise charges where people are assessed as being eligible to contribute to the cost of their care and support in a fair and equitable way. The Charging and Payments Team is a new team which assesses the eligibility for charges and processes charges for all residential and non-residential care packages. The team also looks after various payment runs which are set up to pay our commissioned service providers across the Health and Social Care Partnership.

The role of the Charging & Payments Assistant is to provide high quality finance administration support in relation to residential and non-residential services. Our Charging & Payments Assistants will be responsible for completing financial transactional processes across all service areas. This is a fast paced role that offers variety, opportunities to develop new skills and progress your career.

If you have a person centred approach to working with those residing within West Dunbartonshire, have a background in administration and finance within residential and/or non-residential services and have excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel then we'd love to hear from you.
