Job Description
This is a fixed term post until 28/06/2024.
This is a term time post and the salary will be pro rata to the number of hours worked.
Applicants are invited to apply for a fixed term post based at Linnvale Primary School and ELCC, and involves the provision of clerical support within the school. You will report directly to the Head Teacher.
Duties will include word processing, tasks associated with the maintenance of all school records in relation to pupils and staff; telephone, reception and photocopying duties; distribution of school mail, dealing with enquiries and attending to welfare needs of pupils.
You must have experience of working within an office environment and good IT skills are essential. Experience of using Seemis Click & Go and the ability to use Word and Excel to an advanced level are desirable. You should be able to work with flexibility as part of a team.
Requirements
This post is considered as Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme can be found here.
Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
Responsibilities
The employment for which you are applying is excepted from the provisions of section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) Order 1975.
