Job Description
West Dunbartonshire Council are looking for a committed applicant to manage our Roads Operations team.
The team leaders will be responsible for ensuring that roads across the authority are well-maintained, safe, and efficiently managed. Working closely with the Roads and Transportation Manager, you will oversee key projects, manage budgets, develop staff, and drive performance to ensure excellent service delivery.
West Dunbartonshire Council Roads and Transportation team have the responsibility
of delivery the Council key strategic targets in relation to Road Maintenance and
Improvements, Active and Sustainable Travel, Flooding and Flood Risk Management,
Structures, Street Lighting and Road Safety.
As part of the overall team you will be responsible for the management of our multi skilled road operations team as well as our Winter Maintenance and significant resurfacing programme to improve the overall condition of our roads assets.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have an HND/Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualifications and experience of managing road operations.
