Job Description

We are seeking to hire a construction regulation officer to assist us in ensuring compliance with statutory guidance and regulations related to construction activities we undertake. This will include all aspects of Health and Safety and construction regulation; including but not limited to; planning and building standard; Asbestos; Construction and Design Management Regulations (CDM) 2015.

The successful candidate will be required to travel to construction sites around West
Dunbartonshire and undertake duties in our offices and workshops. This will include reviewing of processes on desktop risk assessments as well as their actual on site performance; assessment of conditions, practices and processes on site against guidance and directives given and other practical associated tasks endeavoring to ensure compliance and safe working conditions in all that we do.

The role would be well suited to an individual with substantial experience both working on or ideally supervising sites as well as experience in the office preparing and reviewing H&S related paperwork.
