Education Officer (Early Years) (Fixed Term) (Term-Time)

Job Description

West Dunbartonshire Council are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to work with the Senior Leadership team to provide support and drive up standards across the our Early Years settings and the Early Level.

As an Education Officer, you will have a key role in supporting the Senior Education Officer and contribute to service development and assist in meeting high quality, efficient and effective service objectives, in line with the key Council priorities of inclusion and of raising the aspirations, achievement and attainment for all students across Early Years and the Early Level.

Interviews will take place in May - date to be determined.

Requirements

This post is considered as Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme can be found here.

Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
