We have exciting opportunities for dynamic, forward thinking carers to work in our brand new Integrated Reablement Service. As a co-founding member of the team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside other new team members to help build an effective and highly valued service for the West Dunbartonshire Community.
As one of our Reablement Carers, you will have a vital role in supporting people as they practice and recover vital skills in familiar tasks such as personal care and meal preparation, which may have been lost due to illness or injury. Full induction will be offered and specialist training and support will be available on an ongoing basis.
We have various hours available and the salary will be pro rata to the number of hours worked. The service will operate over 7 days on a rota-basis which will cover daytime, evenings and every second weekend. Working patterns can be negotiated for the successful candidates.
- 17.5 hour and 21 hour posts are available
- A Driving Licence and access to a vehicle would be advantageous

Requirements
This post is considered as Regulated Work with Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme can be found here.
Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
