Job Description

West Dunbartonshire Council (WDC) is an award winning flexible employer. The ICT support administrator role provides a wonderful and exciting opportunity for employees to develop skills, tasks, training and development within a busy ICT department.

Whilst the job profile is generic for ICT Support Administrator (across several different ICT teams) these roles will be specifically assigned to the Configuration team and the Device Team. Tasks withing Config Team include for example supplier engagement, maintenance renewals, FOI, license management, administrative tasks & purchasing.  Tasks within Device Team include for example device appointment administration, device builds and patching, device decommissioning.

We are keen to find experienced individuals but in house & external training will be provided as required.

Requirements

The ICT Support Administrator - Device post is considered as Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme can be found here.

Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.

Responsibilities
