Job Description
West Dunbartonshire Council has a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to join us as an Apprentice Plumber.
The Modern Apprentices will join the Council's Maintenance and Repairs team who are responsible for carrying out in excess of 60,000 repairs/alterations, capital investment improvements and safety checks to Tenant & Owner Occupied properties Factored by West Dunbartonshire Council each year, among other projects.
The Modern Apprentice Plumber will be based in our Overburn depot in Dumbarton.
We welcome applications if you are aged 16-24 years (or up to age 29, if you are disabled or care experienced), a resident within West Dunbartonshire and have a minimum 3 National 4’s to include English, Maths or a science or technical practical subject.

This training contract is fixed term until 27/08/2028.
Interviews for these positions will take place between Wednesday 24th, Thursday 25th and Friday 26th July 2024.
