West Dunbartonshire Leisure Trust is looking for a friendly, motivated Leisure Attendant to join our team at the Vale of Leven Swimming Pool, Alexandria. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a welcoming environment that puts health, safety, and wellbeing first.

What you’ll do:
• Lifeguard pools
• Support the day-to-day running of the leisure facility
• Help maintain high standards of cleanliness
• Provide excellent customer service and first aid when required

What we’re looking for:
• Current lifeguard qualification (RLSS UK NPLQ/STA Level 6 Award in Pool Lifeguarding)
• Standard Grade (or equivalent) Maths and English
• Customer-focused experience
• Great communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude

Requirements

This post is considered as Regulated Work with Children and Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2020 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme can be found here.

Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.

Responsibilities

The employment for which you are applying is excepted from the provisions of section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) Order 1975.
