Join Our Specialist Damp, Mould & Disrepair Team

Join our new specialist team dedicated to improving housing conditions and resolving damp, mould and disrepair issues across West Lothian's housing stock.

This is more than a surveying role. It's an opportunity to help shape a growing service, resolve complex housing issues and make a real difference to tenants' lives.

Using your technical expertise, you will investigate damp and mould cases, diagnose building defects, specify remedial works and oversee the delivery of effective solutions that improve the quality of our homes.

As part of this specialist service, you will support the Council's response to Awaab's Law and other housing compliance requirements, helping to ensure damp and mould issues are identified, investigated and resolved in a timely and effective manner. Working closely with tenants, in house teams, contractors and colleagues, you will contribute to improving housing conditions and ensuring homes remain safe, healthy and well maintained.

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a brand-new specialist team.
  • Work on complex and rewarding cases that improve homes and communities.
  • Help improve tenants' health, wellbeing and living conditions.
  • Influence how this important service develops and operates.
  • Develop your career within a supportive and forward-thinking organisation.
