An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our successful, dynamic and supportive school team within Connolly School Campus and Burnhouse Skills Centre as a Clerical Assistant for 18.5hours / 39 weeks.
Connolly School Campus and BURNHOUSE Skills Centre are both ASN schools serving the communities of West Lothian
Connolly School Campus is our primary school located in Blackburn and has a roll of 24 learners supported over 4 classes. Burnhouse Skills Centre is our secondary school also with a roll of 24 learners supported over 3 classes in Broad General Education (S1-S3) and 2 senior phase classes.
Pupils, parents/carers, staff, and the wider community identify strongly with the school. The welcoming and inclusive atmosphere reflects the school’s commitment to a climate of mutual respect and trust based on shared values and positive, supportive relationships. Staff know the learners and their families well.
This post is considered Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scotland Act 2007. From 28 February 2011 preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council
