Murrayfield Primary School is a non-denominational school serving the community of Blackburn in West Lothian. The school community consists of 8 Primary classes and a 40/40 ELC.  At Murrayfield we pride ourselves on developing positive relationships with all stakeholders. The staff team work collaboratively to provide the very highest quality of learning and teaching experiences to our children and families. We are seeking an enthusiastic clerical assistant to support across the school and nursery. Good communication skills are essential, and you should enjoy working as part of a team. The post holder will work in partnership with all stakeholders within Murrayfield Primary School to ensure a high-quality student experience.  The successful candidate will carry out administrative operations, following West Lothian Council policies and procedures, to ensure the effective day to day running of the school and working closely in partnership with staff, parents and learners.

This post is considered Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scotland Act 2007. From 28 February 2011 preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council
