You will support the Community Transport Team Leader in effectively delivering the Council’s internal community transport service.

You will be responsible for the supervision of employees engaged in activities in relation to the safe delivery of transport for Social Policy, Education, other Council departments and external clients.

Duties will include supervision of the day to day running of community transport, allocating and co-ordinating jobs to drivers and passenger escorts ensuring that all work is undertaken in a safe, timeous and efficient manner.

Experience in making informed decisions with the ability to organise and co-ordinate effective and efficient front line services and a proven track record of supervising staff is essential.

The successful candidate for this post will be subject to a PVG check
