Are you an experienced contract professional ready to lead high-value capital programmes and drive service excellence? We are seeking an ambitious and strategic Contracts Manager to play a pivotal role in delivering our Building Services housing capital programmes.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape and influence the strategic and operational direction of the Contracts Section, ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
About the Role
You will provide strategic leadership in the delivery of the housing capital works programmes, including planned and cyclical maintenance. From project identification and preparation through to scheduling, delivery and completion, you will oversee the full lifecycle of contract management.
Working collaboratively across services, you will ensure clear communication, aligned priorities and consistent delivery standards. Your leadership will ensure that works are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Contracts Section.
- Develop, implement and monitor robust systems to align contracts with wider planned works, reducing duplication and delivering best value.
- Ensure all works are undertaken in accordance with agreed procedures, performance standards and compliance requirements.
- Drive a quality-focused, customer-centred approach to service delivery.
- Build strong partnerships across service areas to ensure coordinated and efficient programme delivery.
- Monitor performance, budgets and outcomes to ensure continuous improvement.
