Corporate Procurement Service Manager
Nestled in the heart of Scotland, West Lothian is a vibrant region that blends rich history, stunning landscapes and modern living.
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Services, you will lead and develop procurement services for the council. You will shape strategy and deliver complex and high value procurement activities, whilst ensuring compliance with legislation, to best practice standards.
As the council’s most senior procurement adviser, you will ensure delivery of a proactive, responsive and innovative service. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders to maximize delivery of best value, sustainable procurement and efficiencies through commissioning and procurement of goods, services and works across the council.
You will provide expert advice and implement procurement strategies that align with the council’s corporate plan and objectives.
To be successful in this role you will be a visible leader who can build effective partnerships and has proven experience of delivering continuous improvement in procurement services.
