Ogilvie School Campus is an all through school with pupils aged 5-18 across the Primary and Secondary sector. The Secondary setting offers a bespoke model where the purpose of our curriculum is to support opportunities for learners to be successful and to prepare them for life beyond school. In line with the values, purpose and principles of Curriculum for Excellence, we aspire to provide all our learners with access to the highest quality learning and teaching to maximise their successes and encourage and celebrate their achievements in the broadest sense.

We aim to:

  • Build a nurturing, inclusive environment (built on respect and relationships) where every unique success is celebrated.
  • Deliver a relevant and stimulating curriculum through which all pupils can reach their full potential.
  • Develop skills in resilience, independence and communication to prepare for learning, life and work by providing opportunities which nurture resilience and encourage independence and greater awareness of self and others.

Effective learning and teaching is a priority and works alongside a nurturing ethos within the school. Staff are creative, barrier removing and caring in approaches allowing pupils to access the curriculum appropriately. We are keen to celebrate every child’s individual success. Therefore, all staff set high expectations to encourage young people to be all they can be in order that they achieve their individual potential. This will allow them to leave school as effective contributors, successful learners, confident individuals, and responsible citizens.
