Knightsridge Primary School and Early Years Centre is looking for a nurturing and highly motivated ELC Practitioner to join our nursery team. The nursery is open 50 weeks of the year for children aged 2-5 years providing a mixture of full-day and half-day places.  Staff work flexibly across the opening hours on a Rota.

This is a fixed term post for 15.5 hours per week. The hours will be worked across Monday /Tuesday working within a shift Rota between the hours 7.45am - 6.15pm

Our Early Years Centre works collaboratively to provide high quality learning experiences for all children.  We are looking for a practitioner who will bring enthusiasm and a good knowledge of the early level curriculum.  The successful candidate will demonstrate their nurturing approach and dedication to getting it right for all children.  They will work as part of a forward-thinking team, bringing sound knowledge of child development and responding to the individual needs of each child by providing high-quality interactions and learning experiences.  They will work in partnership with our parents and partners to ensure we are getting it right for all our learners.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
