Windyknowe Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and nurturing ELC Practitioner to join the team in the nursery. The setting is open 50 weeks per year and staff work flexibly on a rota across the opening hours. The successful candidate will work as part of a forward-thinking team, bringing a sound knowledge of child development and will respond to the individual needs of each child, providing high quality, caring interactions and learning and teaching experiences.
Working Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
The post-holder must be educated to HNC/SVQ3 level in Early Education and Childcare or provide equivalent qualifications and be able to demonstrate breadth and depth of experience in an early year’s educational establishment.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made.
