Bathgate Academy is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and dynamic Principal Teacher Curriculum (English).

The successful candidate will support the vision for the school and implement strategies to achieve this vision. This is a key post which comes at an exciting and challenging time for education in the school.

Bathgate Academy is a comprehensive non-denominational school and serves a cluster of five primary schools.

The school roll is currently 1194 and this is steadily rising due to housing developments within the area and an ever increasing confidence from the community about the standard of education we provide.

Our motivated staff, students, parents, carers and the community we serve have worked hard to further improve all aspects of our school.

This post is a great opportunity for a highly motivated, skilled, open-minded and friendly person to join us, and to help us secure positive futures for our young people.

The successful candidate will have the necessary experience to assist in taking forward the principles of Curriculum for Excellence in order to support our young people and the improvement agenda of the faculty, school and authority.
