Hopefield Nursery situated within Blackburn Primary school, is seeking to appoint a nurturing and motivated pupil support worker to work 8 hours, Monday to Thursday, 4pm to 6pm. This post is NOT term-time as the setting operates 50 weeks of the year for children aged between 2 – 5 years old.
The successful candidate will work as part of a committed and forward thinking team, bringing a sound knowledge of child development and will respond to the individual needs of each child, providing high quality interactions and learning experiences.
This position requires registration with the SSSC. The successful candidate will have six months from commencement in this post to register with the SSSC. If you are already registered with SSSC you will be required to add West Lothian Council to your account
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made.
