An opportunity has arisen for a Pupil Support Worker to join the Nursery team at Letham Primary School . Working as part of a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years team, the successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality early learning and childcare that meets the needs of young children and their families.

Letham Primary School Nursery provides a nurturing and inclusive learning environment and is committed to promoting positive outcomes for all children. The successful candidate will contribute to creating high-quality learning experiences and supporting children's wellbeing, learning and development.

Hours of Work: 36 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday
Contract: 52 weeks per year

The nursery operates 50 weeks per year, and staff work flexibly across opening hours on a rota basis.

This position requires registration with the SSSC. The successful candidate will have six months from the date of commencement of this post to become registered with the SSSC.

SSSC stipulate you must submit your application within three months of your start date

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
