Bonnytoun Nursery School is situated in the Linlithgow area and is located in Springfield Primary School grounds. We have a range of full time and half day placements and the nursery is open 50 weeks per year and staff work flexibly across the opening hours.

A vacancy has arisen for an enthusiastic pupil support worker to join our well-established team within Bonnytoun. Within Bonnytoun ELC we offer a wide and varied curriculum with play at the centre. We benefit from a large outdoor space which we are hoping to further develop over the coming session. The indoor area provides opportunities for play and learning in a relaxed, unhurried manner.

This position requires registration with the SSSC. The successful candidate will have six months from the date of commencement of this post to become registered with the SSSC. SSSC stipulate you must submit your application within three months of your start date. If you are already registered with SSSC you will be required to add West Lothian Council to your account.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
