Working as a member of the Roads and Transportation Service you will assist in the delivery of one of the key functions of the service.

You will work directly to the Senior Engineer – Road Maintenance delivering the team’s functions and road asset management activities including: investigation of customer enquiries and complaints; asset inspections; asset surveys; small scale design of road repairs; the preparation of minor works orders; and supervision of contractors on site.

Applicants are required to have an appropriate certification to SVQ level 2 (or equivalent relevant experience). In addition, applicants should have ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and bills of quantities; good written and verbal communication skills; good interpersonal skills; and a full driving licence.
