The senior leadership team comprises the Head Teacher, three Depute Head Teachers and the Area Business Support Manager.  Linlithgow Academy is well supported by the parent council and there are positive partnerships with local community groups.

We are looking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Science Technician to work in our science faculty.  Your duties will include the maintenance of the Science laboratories, construction of simple apparatus, maintenance of stock records, preparation of materials for class use, complying with Health and Safety legislation including the review and update of risk assessments and general Science Technician duties.  The position will require good organisational skills with the ability to manage own workload.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
