We are seeking to recruit a Senior Admin Officer to join the Business Support Service, helping deliver high-quality support across council services.

Based within the Civic Centre Admin team, the role provides a range of clerical and administrative support to services across the Civic Centre and other council buildings. The post also supports reception duties and the delivery of internal and external mail services.

This is a varied role with responsibility for helping services run smoothly, prioritizing workloads, and maintaining a high standard of service delivery. The postholder will also have responsibly to line manage Clerical Assistants, including allocation and quality assurance of work in line with council procedures.

Applications should have relevant administrative experience, strong organisational and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Working knowledge of council systems would be desirable.
