Building Services is seeking to recruit highly motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic Team Coordinators to support the successful delivery of repairs, planned maintenance, capital investment programmes, and contract works. These roles will operate across our service areas, ensuring a consistent, efficient, and customer-focused approach to service delivery.

As a Team Coordinator, you will play a key leadership role, managing teams of operatives and contractors to ensure works are planned, coordinated, and delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You will be responsible for overseeing a diverse range of projects, including large-scale capital investment programmes and long-term, multi-year improvement projects that will have a lasting impact on our housing stock and communities.

You will have:

  • A recognised trade qualification and be a time-served tradesperson.
  • Experience of supervising and managing work within a property maintenance, construction or building services environment.
  • The ability to plan, organise and deliver programmes within defined timescales with limited supervision.
  • Knowledge of current property legislation, Building Regulations and Construction (Design and Management) Regulations.
  • Experience of managing contractors, resources and operational workloads.

A proactive approach to identifying and implementing service improvements

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish effective working relationships with customers, contractors, employees and elected members.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality services.
  • Current Driving Licence
