An opportunity has arisen for 2 full-time Team Managers within our Support at Home Service
Support at home services are community‑based, delivering assessment and support within people’s own homes.
The successful candidates will be expected to provide leadership, support to a range of staff and have responsibility for quality improvement within the service .
Previous experience of working within an assessment and care at home service with a dispersed work force is essential, as is experience of working within a multi-disciplinary setting alongside a range of other professionals.
Successful candidates should possess a Social Work, Health or Occupational therapy degree qualification or suitable equivalent Health and care qualifications and relevant experience
Excellent I.T. and communication skills are essential as is previous experience of supervising and leading teams
This position requires registration with the SSSC. The successful candidate will have six months from the date of commencement of this post to become registered with the SSSC. SSSC stipulate you must submit your application within three months of your start date. If you are already registered with SSSC you will be required to add West Lothian Council to your account.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
