West Lothian Council Community Payback Team is a large and innovative team that manages all aspects of Community Payback Orders. This post now requires a Team Manager to work alongside other managers to share management and performance responsibility of the team. This post will focus on the supervision element of the team.

Applicants should have considerable experience of statutory Justice Social Work, MAPPA, National outcomes and Standards and risk assessment tools. This role will require a good level of legislative knowledge relevant to the post and the ability to support staff to work with challenging and complex cases.

The successful candidate will work with the wider management team and be involved in Duty, service wide development, audit and performance working towards service excellence.

This position requires registration with the SSSC. The successful candidate will have six months from the date of commencement of this post to become registered with the SSSC.

SSSC stipulate you must submit your application within three months of your start date.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
