Blackhall Nursery seeks a Nursery Manager
Edinburgh / 42.5 hours p/w / Term-Time Plus / Starting ASAP
Blackhall Nursery, a much loved community-led nursery with a strong reputation for nurturing high-quality early learning and childcare, is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and skilled Nursery Manager to lead our setting.
This inspiring Early Years professional will:
Provide warm, child-centred leadership and uphold the values of play-based, developmentally appropriate learning.
Lead and support our committed staff team.
Ensure the highest standards of early learning and childcare in line with Care Inspectorate, Realising the Ambition and the Joint Framework.
The ideal candidate will:
Be genuinely passionate and early childhood and learning through play.
Bring strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate, support and develop staff.
Have up-to-date knowledge of current early years frameworks and best practice in Scotland.
Hold a qualification that meets SSSC requirements for registration as a Manager.
Be a member of the PVG scheme (or willing to join).
