Our dedicated team works closely with people to promote independence, dignity, and choice, while always ensuring safety and well-being. We are seeking caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Female Support Workers to provide dedicated wakened night shift across two separate services. One in Thornliebank and one in Giffnock. You will be supporting 5 individuals across the two locations complex health and support needs. This is a meaningful role where you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact each day by delivering consistent, person-centred care.
About the Role
You will be supporting these individuals to be safe, secure and well in their homes with dignity, safety, and respect at the heart of everything you do. Your role will include:
- Providing consistent and adaptable support across during nighttime hours.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and safe risk-taking through a calm, proactive approach.
- Monitoring the health and wellbeing of individuals and responding appropriately in line with protocols.
- Supporting communication needs with patience, empathy, and creativity.
- Delivering personal care and assistance with moving and handling in a safe and respectful way.
- Working collaboratively as part of a support team to achieve a consistent approach.
- Performing health and safety and fire checks
- Carrying out housekeeping tasks to ensure the environment is clean and tidy.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Adaptable, empathetic, attentive and confident person.
- A good communicator who can respond to both verbal and non-verbal communication.
- Patient, calm under pressure, and able to work positively in challenging situations.
- Fun, friendly, outgoing, with a good sense of humour.
- Proactive and reflective, always keen to learn and improve support.
- Physically able to assist with moving and handling safely.

Essential Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in care/support work
- Confident with moving and handling practices. (training will be provided)
