Looking for a new opportunity for 2026 in childcare?
Daddy Daycare are expanding and are growing our after school club in Morningside. As a result we're looking for a qualified practitioner to come and join our friendly team
About Us
Daddy Daycare is a family run business which has been operating since 2013. Our clubs are very child focused; the children make and choose snacks, pick toys, activities and will even be involved in the interview process (they're great judges of character!)
We are a real living wage employer and a company that is still expanding with plans to open new sites in the future. As a result this role offers future opportunity for progression and we will support team members financially and academically if they are looking to progress into management.
About You
We need someone who can treat every child as an individual, can engage with them and knows how to have fun.
This role requires a childcare qualification either a SVQ3 or HNC/HND. You will also have at least 1 year of nursery or after school club experience
You should have a PVG registration and SSSC registration.
About the role
We are looking for a qualified practitioner to join our team at Daddy Daycare Morningside on Caanan Lane (EH10 4SG) . The role can be full year or term time only with the option of taking on more hours in the holiday when available.
After school club hours - 2 till 6pm Monday through Thursday with an hour during the week for a team meeting plus Fridays 11.30am till 6pm (with a 30min break)
We offer competitive pay, good progression opportunities, discounted childcare, free training opportunities, funded company nights out and an extra holiday off work on your birthday. Pay is calculated over 12 months so you have a consistent income every month.
Interviews will involve spending time with the children so during term time they must be Monday to Thursday between 3.30-4.30pm and Fridays between 1-5pm. During school holidays we can be more flexible with times.
