Are you passionate about giving children the best start in life? Do you have the drive to lead and inspire a team in a vibrant early years setting? We’re looking for a Lead Early Years Practitioner to join our dedicated team, working with children aged 0-5 years. The role is for the 2-3 room, however this could change in the future.

About the Role:

As the Lead Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality early education and care, supporting a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive.

You will:

  • Lead by example in delivering and planning based on the curriculum for excellence.
  • Support, guide, and inspire a small team of practitioners.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Monitor and support children's development and well-being.
  • Ensure safeguarding, health, and safety policies are upheld at all times.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A genuine passion for working with young children
  • Someone with experience working with children aged 0-5, who has an interest in furthering their career.
  • Proven leadership skills or someone with leadership potential.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • Someone who has the ability to apply professional judgement and the ability to manage complex situations to improve the outcome for both staff and children.
  • A member of the team who upholds professional standards and acts as a role model.
  • A team player with a proactive and positive attitude
  • Someone who already holds a qualification as an early years practitioner who is willing to complete or already holds a relevant qualification for a lead role
