Nursery Chef

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Chef to join our team, working Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. The role involves preparing nutritious meals for up to 60 children each day in a busy nursery environment.

Previous experience as a chef is not essential; however, a genuine interest in cooking and basic culinary skills are required. An awareness of food allergies or a willingness to learn is essential, as we cater to a range of dietary needs.

The successful candidate will be required to complete a Disclosure Scotland PVG check to ensure suitability for working with children. In addition, an Elementary Food Hygiene certificate must be obtained prior to starting the role; this can be arranged by the nursery if needed.
