Teacher of History

Teacher of History - Fixed term from 11th August 2025 - 19th June 2026

Salary: £27 per hour

Hours: 12 hours per week

Applicants should be registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland and have experience of delivering national qualifications including National 4, National 5 and Higher.

Basil Paterson is a coeducational independent day school located in the heart of Edinburgh on Queen Street. For students aged 14-16 our Middle School offers a full and varied curriculum which challenges and supports our students as they work towards the first crucial exams of their learning careers. Our Senior College is a year round academic alternative to school which offers a range of subjects and qualifications for students aged 16 and over.
