Qualified Early Years Practitioner (Temporary, Fixed Term)

Location: Belmont House Nursery

Contract Type: Temporary (Fixed Term – Term Time Only)

Hours: 08:30am – 15:30pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

Start Date: Tenable from 5th January 2026 until 31st July 2026 in the first instance*

Salary: Dependent on experience

*There is the possibility of the role extending beyond this date.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive team on a temporary, fixed-term basis, working Monday to Friday, 08:30am–15:30pm during term time only.

This role involves delivering high-quality early learning and childcare in accordance with:

• Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) Codes of Practice
• The Care Inspectorate’s Quality Improvement Framework
• The Health and Social Care Standards
• National early years best practice guidelines

We are looking for someone who will support and contribute to continuous improvement across the setting, ensuring that children receive the best possible start in life.
