Hours: Fixed Term, Full time, Term time, 35 hours per week (1.0 FTE) Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 4:30pm and Friday 8:30am to 1:00pm
Salary: £33,594 – £50,589 pro rata, per annum

The Donaldson Trust is Scotland’s National Body for Neurodiversity, providing a range of services for neurodivergent children, young people and adults. This role is based within the Sensational Learning Centre, our grant-aided special school supporting pupils with complex additional support needs.
We are seeking to appoint a full-time (1.0 FTE) teacher on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking school community where high-quality teaching, inclusive practice and pupil wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do.
About the role
You will:
- Deliver high-quality learning, teaching and assessment tailored to pupils with additional support needs
- Plan and adapt engaging learning experiences that meet individual needs and promote progress
- Create a safe, inclusive and motivating learning environment
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and the ongoing development of The Donaldson Trust
A strong understanding of safeguarding and a demonstrable commitment to working with neurodivergent children and young people are essential.
Requirements
- GTCS registration
- PVG Scheme membership (or willingness to obtain) for regulated work with children and adults
