Job Description
Active Campus Coordinator – Gambling Harm Prevention
Working Hours: 35 hours per week

Gambling-related harm is an increasingly significant issue, and can affect wellbeing, financial stability and long-term life chances. Dundee & Angus College is committed to taking proactive, evidence based action to reduce this harm across our learner community through a newly funded project supported by the Scottish Government Gambling Levy Fund.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Active Campus Coordinator (Gambling Harm Prevention) to lead an innovative programme that combines early intervention, prevention, physical activity and recovery focused support. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the lives of learners and staff by addressing rising levels of online gambling, sports betting, gaming related gambling and wider digital harms.
The postholder will work across all three campuses, providing one to one support, delivering targeted group interventions and offering educational workshops for students and staff. They will strengthen key internal and external partnerships and help embed healthier, safer behaviours through our successful Active Campus initiative.
A positive, resilient approach and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed, backed up with a qualification at Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant sports development, health, community education, youth, social care, or engagement-based discipline.
A demonstrable ability to engage and empower others, with experience of designing and implementing successful wellbeing activities is essential, as are monitoring and evaluation skills for evaluation of service delivery.
The role will include work in each of our campuses and in different locations and environments including outreach and community based, so a full driver’s licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
This is a full-time role, 35 hours per week for a fixed term from June 2026 to June 2028.
Closing date for receipt of completed application forms is Monday 13 April 2026.
Interviews will be held at Gardyne Campus, and are scheduled for Wednesday 6 May 2026.
