Digital Learning Specialist
Hours: 35 hours per week / term time over 40 weeks
Fixed term end date: 30 April 2027
Salary: DA7, £29,638 - £31,549 per annum pro rata (£32,010 - £34,074 per annum FTE)
Campus: Campus TBC but will be based at either Gardyne Campus or Kingsway Campus

We are seeking to appoint a Digital Learning Specialist, based at our Gardyne Campus on a term‑time basis, who is enthusiastic about supporting both students and staff and enhancing students’ digital and study skills throughout their College journey.

The post holder will play a key role in designing and delivering college sessions that help students develop essential digital, study, and learning skills to support success across their curriculum.

In addition, the role involves providing front‑line support at the campus Digital Hub and assisting students and staff with day‑to‑day digital queries. Strong customer service skills and a supportive, approachable manner are therefore essential.

The successful candidate will also contribute to the digitisation of learning, teaching and assessment resources, requiring confidence and competence in the use of digital technologies.

As each day brings different challenges and opportunities, the ideal candidate will be flexible, well organised, solutions‑focused and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Full training, including using the College’s supported digital tools and systems, will be provided.
