Rate of Pay: DA3, SCP08 – SCP11 - £

The Gardyne Theatre is a vibrant venue hosting a diverse range of performances, productions, conferences and community events throughout the year. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join our Front of House team and help deliver an exceptional experience for all visitors.

As part of the theatre front of house team, you will coordinate front of house and bar activities during performances, events and functions, ensuring every visitor receives a professional, welcoming and inclusive experience. Acting as the first point of contact for front of house staff and hiring companies, you will support the smooth running of events whilst maintaining high standards of customer care, presentation and service delivery.

The successful candidate will oversee bar operations, support hospitality functions and concession sales, assist with stock control and financial reconciliation processes, and ensure compliance with relevant licensing, health and safety and operational procedures. You will also play an important role in coordinating and supporting Front of House and Bar Assistants, helping to maintain an effective and motivated team

Applicants should have experience working within a theatre, arts, hospitality, leisure or events environment and be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills, strong organisational abilities and a positive, proactive approach to work. Experience of handling customer enquiries, cash reconciliation and supervising staff would be advantageous

Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to customer care and accessibility, with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. A flexible approach to working hours is essential, as the role will involve regular evening and weekend working in support of the theatre's programme of events
