Salary: DA11, SCP 37 - £47,256 per annum pro rata (Actual Salary: £18,902 per annum)

As the key resource supporting the operation of the Board of Management we are seeking a Governance Professional with the skills and expertise necessary to advise and support the application of good governance in decision making whilst ensuring the effective organisation and operation of Board activities.
Educated to degree or equivalent level (SCQF level 9) within a relevant subject area you must have experience gained in a similar role covering governance, compliance or regulatory assurance, coupled with excellent organisational skills and the ability to prepare high quality reports and minutes whilst also evidencing clear success within recent roles.
A specific qualification in public sector governance, law, public administration or similar will be an advantage.
Demonstrating a positive outlook, we will expect you to show the commitment, drive, and ability necessary to influence and lead best practice in governance, ethical standards and regulatory compliance.
This is a diverse and exciting role and we are looking for someone with excellent communication and influencing skills who can engage Board members and senior staff in the importance of high quality governance in achieving College outcomes.
This is a part-time opportunity (average of 2 days per week). Working hours will vary across the governance cycle, with flexibility required to support Board and Committee meetings, including evening (normally 5.00 – 7.00pm) meetings.
