Head of Curriculum and Quality – Health and Social Care
Salary: £50,394 per annum (Promoted Academic Band 2)

Dundee and Angus College is a highly respected educational institution with an enviable reputation for the quality of the learning, teaching and services it provides, and the sector leading outcomes that our students achieve.

We are currently looking for a Head of Curriculum and Quality to lead our Health and Social Care team.

If you are an effective leader, have a passion for high quality learning and teaching, that can ensure the development, delivery and enhancement of the curriculum and services provided by your team, then we are interested in hearing from you.

Providing effective leadership and direction for your Curriculum and Quality Leaders, you will also be first line manager for all team staff, and will play a key role in ensuring that collaborative team working and a clear focus on learning are at the heart of team operations.

You will have the analytical and horizon scanning skills needed to develop your curriculum area effectively, engaging, motivating and involving your team to deliver innovative, effective, successful and sustainable learning that meets the learner, regional and commercial needs of your subject areas.

Calm, organised, motivated and solution focussed, you will have a demonstrable commitment to your own professional development (CPD) and that of your team.

You must also be able to demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, networking and presentation skills, supported by good ICT skills and the flexibility, commitment and track record needed to lead innovative curricular change; manage and develop staff; plan and oversee resources; achieve commercial targets; and ensure the delivery of high quality learning, teaching and related services.
