Job Description

Dundee and Angus College are offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced infrastructure development expert to play a leading role in bringing our ambitious 10 year infrastructure vision to life.

As a multi-award winning College with sector leading learner satisfaction and outcomes we have an exciting vacancy for the role of:

Infrastructure Vision Project Director (3 days per week)
Salary £76,557 (pro rata)

Working alongside the Senior Leadership Team and Programme Board, the Project Director will lead and manage the delivery of the College’s ambitious 10 year Infrastructure Vision through the business case development and finalisation phases and (approval and funding permitted) into final construction.

This is a major opportunity to play a lead role in progressing a ‘once in a generation’ infrastructure vision that will transform the operation of the College and deliver major benefits for future skills and employability opportunities across the Dundee and Angus Region.

Qualified to degree or equivalent (SCQF 9) level in a relevant construction / built environment discipline you should also hold membership of a relevant professional body such as MRICS, MCIOB, RIBA or CIBSE.

Given the size and complexity of our vision we will need extensive post qualification experience of construction technology, design & project management of a diverse range of large scale construction projects, including new buildings, refurbishments, and complex projects incorporating building services modifications and installations.

Thorough knowledge and experience of project management and project control techniques, including financial analysis, project planning and appraisal, financing and risk management are also essential.

To succeed in this role you will need to operate collaboratively with a wide range of technical and lay stakeholders and have the project / programme management, negotiation and communication skills necessary to deliver clear outcomes on time, on budget and in line with our College ambitions and values.

This is a part-time 3 day per week fixed-term role for an initial period of one year to progress through to Final Business Case approval for Phase 1, with further review as the project progresses through approval and construction phases.

Closing date for receipt of completed application forms is Tuesday 17 February 2026.

Interviews will be held at our Kingsway campus, date still to be confirmed.
