Dundee and Angus College and The Rossie Young People’s Trust have developed a Skills & Employability Partnership aimed at improving outcomes for young people who face significant barriers to education, employment and progression.

As part of the continued development of this partnership, we are now seeking to appoint a compassionate and committed Skills Coach to support young people in developing confidence, independence and essential life skills.

This role will involve working with young people from a range of backgrounds, including those with disrupted education experiences or those who require additional support to engage in education, training or employment pathways. You will work with young people who may require additional support to develop skills for daily living, social interaction, personal wellbeing and development, and employability.

You will deliver engaging, hands-on learning activities and skills development experiences within a practical simulated home setting. The role requires someone who can inspire and motivate young people in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

The successful candidate will hold a relevant qualification in Health & Social Care, Education, Youth Work or related field and have recent sector experience. You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and possess the ability to build trusting relationships with young people.

Closing date for receipt of completed application forms is Monday 15 June 2026.

Interviews are scheduled to take place on Wednesday 24 June 2026 at The Rossie Young People’s Trust, Montrose.
