Campus: Gardyne
This is a blended and fast paced, we are looking for someone who can provide diverse support, advice and administration services in our Gardyne Campus. You will provide individualised support for young people and adults attending College. The students you will work alongside will have a range of additional support needs such as mental health difficulties, neurodivergent conditions, sensory difficulties and long-term health conditions.
You will hold a small caseload of students supporting them on a on a one-to-one basis assisting students to develop their skills and confidence and manage their wellbeing. You will participate in our triage service supporting students who need urgent support and signposting on to others within the team and to external services. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has experience of working alongside individuals with mental health and wellbeing concerns. This role will need you to have patience and good problem-solving abilities to find individual support, advice, funding and information options for students to help them achieve their educational and personal goals. This post requires strong administration skills as you will work with other advisors and administrators across the college using key systems such as REMS, TQ, FLO, CELCAT. A knowledge and confidence in working within MS Teams and all Microsoft packages. This role provides essential administration support and coordination duties to assess and administer our discretionary funds, allocate laptops, complete bursary, SAAS, discretionary and UCAS applications with students.
