Variable Lecturer – Animal Care
Rate of Pay: £22.99 - £27.67 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience) plus preparation and marking allowance and holiday pay
Campus: Arbroath Campus, Keptie Road, Arbroath, DD11 3EA

We would like to add to the pool of part-time lecturing staff in the curriculum area of Animal Care. We have an immediate vacancy to be filled from August 2026.

The role involves delivering high quality teaching and learning, both theory and practical, assessment of student work, giving feedback and monitoring of student progress, recording student achievement and all associated administration. The role may also involve being a Group Tutor, providing pastoral support and guiding and advising learners.

The ideal candidate will have experience of teaching in Further Education, a high level Animal Care or Veterinary Nursing qualification, industry experience and have a flexible and practical approach to teaching delivery in a variety of settings. Classes will normally be held on the Arbroath campus.
