Then, our School Administrator role could be the job for you.

Dunedin is a small, independent secondary school, providing an exceptional learning environment which offers young people a ‘second chance’ at education.

Our pupils have usually had a difficult journey before they come to us, and most have not been able to thrive in a mainstream setting.

With a sensitive, nurturing and supportive approach, we aim to remove barriers in order to help our young people regain a love of learning, and a belief in themselves.

As School Administrator, you will join our hard-working and committed team, and work alongside us to provide crucial administrative and pastoral support to pupils, parents and staff.

The role is 37 weeks including 35 weeks during term and 2 weeks during the school holidays. The successful candidate must be prepared to attend meetings in school or online after hours, and work directly with other staff.

The ideal candidate will be empathetic with excellent communication skills coupled with strong organisation and people management experience.

This post is considered Regulated Work under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, 2007, and successful candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check, prior to confirmation of employment.
