Edinburgh College are seeking an Administrative Assistant join the Creative Industries and Communications, Policy and Research Team. The postholder will have experience of organising events and working in a fast-paced working environment. They must have the ability to multi task and work on their own initiative, whilst being able to work with other teams across the College.
The postholder will also be required to liaise with other commercial and business development staff at Edinburgh College by providing information and analysis, on an ad hoc basis, of commercial activity undertaken, and any work on new initiatives.
In addition, the postholder will be required to work with teaching staff in faculties, with a specific focus on the Creative Industries Faculty. They will also be involved in networking at social events and seek to develop new business opportunities, and conduct periodic market research.
Please note, due to the nature of this post there will be times when you will need to work weekends and evenings, to support weekend and evening hiring of facilities and events. Therefore, the post does afford flexible working patterns.

What you can offer us
Educated to SCQF level 8 you also will have relevant knowledge and experience of working within the creative industries and / or college sector. You will have exceptional organisational skills, adhere to high standards of customer care, and be task driven to meet deadlines.
