Edinburgh College is looking to recruit a suitable candidate for the position of Educational Support Worker (ESW).
Our Routes into Education or Employment Team delivers a range of courses to students with Additional Support Needs and barriers to learning, from SCQF Levels 1 to 4. The ESW provides support to students, to help them understand and participate in classroom activities.
Ideally, you will have NC/SVQ level 2 (SCQF level 5) in Health & Social Care, or equivalent and relevant experience, preferably in the education sector, working with young people and adults with barriers to learning including disabilities. Person-centred working with excellent interpersonal, communication and numeric skills are also essential.
Please note that the successful candidate(s) may be required to work at any Edinburgh College campus.
