International EFL Lecturer - Temporary until 4 April 2025 - EC01423

Edinburgh College currently has two temporary vacancies for the role of International EFL Lecturers.

Class contact hours be Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings and mornings and afternoons on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Applicants who are educated to SCQF Level 9 or equivalent, with a minimum of a CELTA qualification or equivalent, and demonstrable experience of teaching English as a Foreign Language at a range of levels, are invited to apply for the post of EFL lecturer to teach on our International EFL programmes taking place in Edinburgh during the academic year 2024/2025. 

A DELTA qualification or equivalent, experience of teaching towards Cambridge / IELTS / Trinity qualifications, and experience of teaching English for Specific Purposes, are desirable. 

It is anticipated that applicants will be committed to delivering these courses in a creative, integrated and dynamic way to suit the needs of our students and support their achievement.

Please note that the successful candidate may be required to work at any Edinburgh College campus.

Provisional contract dates are 13 January - 4 April 2025 although this may be subject to change.
