Edinburgh College is looking to recruit a suitable candidate for the position of Learning Development Tutor (LDT).
Our Routes into Education or Employment Team delivers a range of courses to students with Additional Support Needs and barriers to learning, from SCQF Levels 1 to 4.
The LDT is responsible for the development and delivery of tutorials and timetabled sessions and supports the development of essential, employability and transferable skills whilst supporting our student’s personal progress. The role has a focus on career management, qualification progression and a responsibility to support students with retention and achievement.
Ideally, you will have SCQF Level 9, or equivalent, in a relevant subject. Experience of facilitating the development of employability and/or other essential skills in both an individual and group setting is also essential, as is experience of a supportive/pastoral role in a related sector.
